A 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide test was performed on days 2, 5, and 7 to evaluate cell viability, adhesion, and proliferation.” Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) test was used to examine osteoblast activity in the research groups.</p> <p>Results:On days 2, 5, and 7 the osteoblast adhesion in the periostin-treated absorbable collagen matrices was statistically significantly higher than that in the untreated NcHC (P=0.001). According to the results of the ALP test, the osteoblast activity in the periostin-treated ACS was higher than that in the periostin-treated NcHC.</p> <p>Conclusion:</p> <p>It is clear from the results of this research that Periostin plays a substantial part in regulating the cellular response of the osteoblast cells.
